Dan McCrory joins Robert for this episode.  Dan has written a book called Capitalism Killed the Middle Class: 25 Ways the System is Rigged Against You. It’s part memoir, part history, part cautionary tale as he covers everything from the gig economy to the criminal injustice system. 

The book takes on the criminal justice system, trade, healthcare, the Powell memo, and the 1033 project!  Housing, homelessness, the two-party system, why we don’t have a labor party, workplace equality, FDR as savior of the middle class, the gig economy, universal basic income, AI (technology), the American caste system, education, the Green New Deal, and Black Lives Matter. The premise: a renewed labor movement can save the middle class. He's also working on two sequels: ReBuilding Union and Capitalism Kills: the Global Edition.
