QMines (ASX: QML) chairman Andrew Sparke joins Small Caps to discuss the company’s recent exploration excitement which has confirmed the potential of its promising Mt Chalmers copper discovery in Queensland.

Recent drilling hits at the Artillery Road target have confirmed that QMines looks to be onto a significant new base metal discovery.

The company initially grabbed interest in late July when drilling intersected high-grade mineralisation southwest of the Mt Chalmers West Lode.

It quickly followed that up in early August with a drill test of an Artillery Road electromagnetic prospect confirming potential for a large discovery.

The company is now looking to add on to that early success with RC drilling continuing on a 5,000m, 30 hole program.

The company has also identified a further 30 plus electromagnetic anomalies to test.
