Amy Cordova, Oklahoma Baptist Convention Missions Director joins Brad this week to talk about the Edna McMillan State Missions Offering in Oklahoma. They chat about who Edna McMillan is, why is the state missions of Oklahoma named after her, and how the state is using the funds that they receive through this offering.

Both of the McMillans became faithful stewards of their time and their resources. George served in church and worked in the oil business. They settled in Muskogee in 1902 and later spent most of their lives in Bristow. Edna held numerous roles in the church and worked diligently and tirelessly for Oklahoma Woman’s Missionary Union. She held many positions in WMU and served as state WMU president for 11 years from 1927 to 1938.

Edna was an effective communicator and consistently challenged Oklahoma Baptists to give generously to state missions.

Dr. Emerson Falls, Native American ministries specialist at the Oklahoma Baptist Convention joins Brad to talk about what it looks like to belong to Christ as a Christian. The hope that comes with it and how people should be able to tell that we are set apart. Dr. Falls is half Choctaw and half Sac & Fox Nation. He talks about the struggle of coming to Christ and being known as an "apple" to his Native American brothers (red on the outside, white (his religious beliefs) on the inside).

Brad is joined by three wonderful guests, Amy Cordova of the Oklahoma Baptist Convention and QSBC members Nikki Lokey, and April Clay. The three ladies have a fun time with the completely random question generator and talk to us about Missional Motherhood.
