Anna and April talk first with Mary whose two best friendships are called into question after a past conversation revealed that the three of them have differing political views. Missing her friends, Mary wonders how or if the relationships can be repaired.

Their next call is with Michele whose son’s upcoming marriage has her family debating whether to invite the groom’s father. While every wedding brings a certain amount of stress, Michele’s ex-husband’s dependency issues have the potential to create even more drama and Michele wonders if inviting him is worth taking the chance.
