  • QGPod 57 - Recording Engineer & Producer Ekzakt
For the first Quarantine Goods podcast since switching from Skype to Zoom, the guys connected with Ekzakt, a Los Angeles based recording engineer and producer with roots in the Bay Area. His sounds may have made it on to your Spotify playlist in recent years, producing tracks for Black, Too Short, and more recently Partynextdoor's new album Party Mobile. They talked about how Covid-19 has affected them and how it has impeded the creative process and collaboration. They got into their background as trained audio engineers, and the difference that made when Zach made the move from the Bay to LA. Regardless of the fact that you can make music in a bedroom wherever, Los Angeles is home to creative energy and a network that is unmatched anywhere in the world. While Zach's presence is missed in the Bay Area, the dude is absolutely killing it in So Cal and the guys been loving what it has brought out of him. Plus, it gives them yet another excuse to visit LA, which they very much look forward to doing once everyone can assimilate back into society a bit. So add some Ekzakt songs to your playlist now, then play them after this podcast.

On this episode of the podcast, Anson and Chris were joined by up and coming San Francisco based rapper Bayway. • QGPod 53 - Quality Control
On this episode of the podcast Anson and Chris have a conversation about Quality Control. In the age of the internet where options are in abundance, goods and service of poor quality are very short lived.  Consumers and critics alike have a huge influence on quality, because in this consumer driven landscape, consistent quality is the key to longevity. Reputations and reviews have the ability to make or break, so delivering on quality is important if you wanna stick around. That’s what we strive to do for you all, so check out this quality conversation about the quality of consistency.
