Continuing from last show, I focus on talking about the next chapter in Vine Deloria Jr's 'Carl Jung and the Sioux Tradition' which is about his visit to Taos Pueblo and how that had a lasting impression on Jung's work, as well addressing misinterpretations Jung had about Indigenous people.  

For today's episode I am beginning 'Carl Jung and the Sioux Traditions: Dreams, Visions, Nature and the Primitive' by Vine Deloria Jr and I start by giving my summary and thoughts about the first chapter on Psychology and the Psyche.

I am back with another episode and this week I pick up where I left off with discussing the book Beyond the Box: B.F. Skinner's Technology of Behavior from Laboratory to Life, 1950s-1960s.  In this show I focus on the history of token economics in both schools and mental hospitals and how the behavior technology came out of experiments done with children and women with severe mental illness. 

I reference Alison Mcdowell's article on Blockchain, specially the section in her article that talks a bit about token economic programs in modern schools.   Here is a video of teachers looking at their student's data on dashboards, I wonder if this is really the future we want for our children.

I am back with a new episode to begin the New Year, and I hope everyone enjoyed a blessed holiday and are excited for 2024.

In today's episode I talk about Michael Ende's book 'The Night of Wishes', token economics, and more.  Throughout the show I often mention the work of Alison Mcdowell who is a researcher and has written extensively on important subjects like web3.0, consciousness, complexity etc.  Her work can be found on her blog Wrench in the Gears and her Youtube Channel Alison Mcdowell. 

Recently, Alison did a presentation on the Economist's cover page for its November 2023 issue, there was a lot of interesting symbology on the cover page and Alison discusses this further.  I also mentioned Alison's read out load of Michael Ende's wonderful book Momo.

I am back with another episode, this time I am talking about Edgar Cayce and the book The Spiritual Forces Within You.  I've taken a pause on talking about Beyond the Box on B.F. Skinner for the time being, but will return to it as soon as I can.
