Segregation in craft beer is on the rise. As more and more BIPOC from all nationalities, ethnicity and languages seek to enter this growing industry the more they feel marginalized and left out. Conferences and Festivals aren't affordable. Workshops remain 99% white attended. The ownership & employment statistics are 4% diverse and 7% women. I propose that this is not a problem of -isms but a problem of proximity. If I and my team and place planning, willingness and educated in proximity to opportunity, I hypothesize that change can quantified.

Getting ready for the launch of BEERSGIVING's "Industry Professional Pairings" and the "Family Afternoons Out" series has been a great deal of work. As a new mom for the second time, now the unschooling momma of two young children, life is stressful at best and insane at other times. As the founder of multiple companies still in their adolescent phase I can not stop as many might have the luxury to. This means family bonding time is sacred.
