Here's a little extra episode of Quarantine Stories. Helemaal in het Nederlands, tho...sorry those who speak English. xoxo.
Stories, poems and other written things that I will be sharing with just my voice. A new episode each Sunday evening. I took a little break from sharing some stories with you, because of some other exciting projects. Nevertheless, I enjoyed collecting new stories for you for this fifth episode. I let go of the usual theme I have connected to what I read. I share an essay from the book Beneath the Skin, which is a book from the Wellcome Collection. The essay I read is from Christina Patterson on the Skin. I share a short story from Toon Tellegen and a children's story from Arnold Lobel from the book Bij Uil Thuis & Andere Verhalen.
Stories, poems and other written things that I will be sharing with just my voice.
A new episode each Sunday evening.
This fourth episode is about time, and our relation to time. I share a poem by Pierre Reverdy, an excerpt from Song of Myself by Walt Whitman, lyrics from Duran Duran and a Dutch short story by Maartje Wortel.
In this bonus episode of Quarantine Stories I tell the story The Distance of the Moon by Italo Calvino.
I thought this was a very fitting story with the moon being all big and bright these past days.
I hope you enjoy it.
A few stories, poems and other written things that I will be sharing with just my voice.
