Welcome to Vault 33, a podcast for Amazon Prime’s Fallout, hosted by Andrew Sorcini, Dwayne D., and Tosin Onafowokan.

In this brief intro to the podcast, we share our relationship with the property and its creatives, and look ahead to our hopes and expectations of the series.

Coming this April from Deep Geek Media: Vault 33, a podcast for Fallout on Amazon Prime.

Join Andrew Sorcini, Dwayne D, and Tosin Onofowakan, hosts of Quarantine Zone, a podcast for The Last of Us, and Violent Delights, a Westworld podcast, as they recap, deconstruct and analyze every new episode of Amazon Prime’s television adaptation of Bethesda Softworks popular videogame series. 

In a future, post-apocalyptic Los Angeles brought about by nuclear decimation, citizens must live in underground bunkers to protect themselves from radiation, mutants and bandits. 

The Amazon Prime series stars Ella Purnell, Walton Goggins, and Kyle MacLachlan, and is produced by Kilter Films, producers of Westworld & Person of Interest. It’ll premiere on April 12, 2024.

Andrew, Dwayne, & Tosin awe at the stunning level of production in this week's episode, and how showrunners Mazin & Druckmann continue to flesh out the worldbuilding and backstory. We consider the important logistical changes in how cordyceps reacts in the show, compared to the game. We bid farewell to Anna Torv's terrific portrayal of Tess, and contemplate what may be ahead for Ellie, and how her emotional path may differ from the source videogame. Finally, we take a look at other videogame properties being developed as  TV adaptations across the various streaming networks, and which ones hold the most promise.
