Well, welcome to the double digit episodes folks! This may not seem like much, but we are quite pleased with this milestone. We've prepared something special for you all for this time. In this episode, we attempt 3 CEO morning routines each. From the CEO of Google to the CEO of Glossier, we dissect the formation of habits and try to understand how these routines might contribute to our betterment, productivity and health wise. 'Twas fun! In this episode, we are very excited to be delving into international students in Canada from both a quantitative and a qualitative standpoint. With the demonstrated benefits of international students for a country's economy, we kick off the episode by overviewing Canada's 5 year plan for drawing in more international students. We are so happy to have had two wonderful guests on the show - Simone Ianniello and Nick Pandohie. Simone is an international student from Italy, and Nick is from Jamaica. Each talks about their first impressions of Canadian culture, some common misconceptions about their own home cultures, as well as some of the tips and tricks they've picked up while living abroad for school.

Our intro segment dives into Vanessa's rapidly developing TNR project, geared toward improving the lives of a colony of feral cats in her community. As for the flora aspect, we have Verda Innovations (also known as Verda) co-founder and CEO Evan Adcock to chat with us about breaking into this rapidly changing industry. Verda is a cannabis delivery service, connecting consumers with legal cannabis products in a quick, transparent and professional manner. His experience touches on getting started as an entrepreneur in a very new industry; including the roadblocks he's faced, the stigmas he's encountered, and the risk/reward of being a first mover. Evan is eager to provide some guidance to other entrepreneurs looking to follow a similar trajectory in their own career paths.

We move from chatting about the Liberal Government's grant for student volunteers all the way to formally inciting a club rivalry....sort of.  We are beyond excited to welcome Co-Captains of JDCC Laurier Katarina Granic and Kyle Collins on the show to discuss key similarities and differences between two of Canada's most popular undergraduate business clubs. On DECA's side of the ring, DECA U Co-President Mauricio Martinez was also able to join in on the conversation. What does case competition take? Is it worth it? Be prepared for some laughs and interesting points from both sides.

As for the interview segment - we are excited to welcome Isabel - a student at the University of Guelph who, without a formal business background, took her passion for sustainability and repurposing items to the next level and started a business: Izzy's Imperfect Items. From her, we learn about the ins and outs of operating a small business, how she manages the trade off between price and sustainability, as well as her views on minimalism.

Stella and Ishan discuss their biggest recommendations and lessons learned for undergraduate students interested in both following a similar trajectory.
