Quebec rolled out new province-wide civility rules in schools, requiring students, starting as young as kindergarten, to address teachers formally, using titles like "Mr." or "Mrs.," and in French classrooms, to use “vous” instead of “tu.” Katherine Korakakis, President of the English Parents’ Committee Association of Quebec spoke to Andrew Carter about it.
