If you want to have a relationship with God that gets better and better, you have to consistently line up to truth, and not lies. As we continue through our discipleship series, Pastor Brian shares a message about the power and freedom found in Jesus through His truth, and practically how to combat the lies of the enemy as we grow in our relationship with God.

The ancient paths mentioned in Jeremiah 6 are referring to the tools that help us in our discipleship walk - a journey where we seek to have a relationship with God that gets better and better. God calls us to not only follow Him, but do so in unity with other Christians. The Bible tells us where there is unity, there is blessing, and that is why Pastor Brian’s topic today is such a critical piece toward accomplishing our mission of reaching and teaching others the good news of the Gospel.

Our words matter, whether in day to day conversations or when telling others about our faith. As we continue in our evangelism series, Pastor Brian gives a very practical message aimed to help us share the good news of the gospel with the people around us.

Romans 10:13 (NLT) For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Jesus calls his followers to be actively seeking out people who are lost and not in relationship with Him. The first step of how to accomplish this mission has so much to do with how we live our day to day lives. This week, Pastor Brian teaches from specific encounters Jesus had that display the ways we should interact with the people around us in order to ultimately share with them the good news of the Gospel.

Matthew 4:18-19 (NKJV) And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen. Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” They immediately left their nets and followed Him.

Whether prompted by a particular circumstance or a new season of life, we may find ourselves asking, “Why am I here?” In today’s message, Noah Bates teaches on this question of purpose by first looking the question of identity: Who does God say we are? And once we understand who we are in Christ, what role are we called to fulfill as Christians in this world?

We have been given the mission of sharing the good news of the Gospel, but why has God given this mission to us? In week two of our series on evangelism, Pastor Brian teaches from the book of Isaiah, showing why we are called to tell others about Jesus.

Isaiah 6:8 (NLT) Then I heard the Lord asking, “Whom should I send as a messenger to this people? Who will go for us?” I said, “Here I am. Send me.”

God wants everyone, everywhere, to have an everyday relationship with Him. That is why the great commission tells us to live our lives on mission, reaching and teaching everywhere we go. As we start our new series, Pastor Brian teaches what it means to evangelize, and sets the groundwork for a series equipping us to effectively share the gospel with others.

Matthew 28:19 (NLT) Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
