I am so excited about interviewing my best friend and business partner, Andrew Aranda. Andy worked in his family's trade business growing up. When he decided to get into the plumbing business, he became motivated to change people's views on the trades. Andy's personal brand is called The Modern Day Tradesman, and his mission is to "bring respect back to the trades," particularly for young people aspiring to work in this field.
We talk about so many interesting things from helping intrapreneurs and how we try to go the extra mile with our team. We talk about the importance of mentoring, coaching, good communication, and planning. We even share some steps we've taken to improve our communication and our marriage. We talk about personal development and balance in life. This is the first part of a two-part interview with Andy. We'll publish the second part next week.
