I am so excited to share this episode with you. I am talking to the Author Bethan Roberts, about her book My Policeman which is now a film with a cast including Harry Styles, Emma Corrin, David Dawson, Gina McKee, Linus Roache and Rupert Everett.

It is launch week of Season 2 of Queer I Am, The Podcast and I cannot wait any longer to share this episode with you; call it a spare of the moment, launch week special! I am kicking off the season with a guest who has a fantastic story; they're an Actor, Singer, Theatre star and are now focusing their attention to TV Broadcasting and Presenting and have their own show, My Pride Story.

Having moved to Brighton in 2020 from Israel during the pandemic with their husband, they are building a new life in the UK and bringing their artistry for us all to enjoy.

We talk about their queer journey, the importance of self development and growing as human beings, being in it together with everyone within our queer community and recognising that someone else's fight, is actually our own.

Recently, I was lucky to have a Zoom chat with the wonderful Jill, about her incredible autobiography Love from the Pink Palace.

The episode is a bonus episode for Season 1, and I am so excited to share this with you!

We talk about Jill's career in musical theatre, her love and support for the queer community, and supporting her friends and family during the HIV and Aids epidemic.

We also touch on her fundraising and charity work with Westend Cares, the incredible Russell T Davies drama, It's a Sin in which she played Jill Baxter's Mother, and her support locally in Brighton for the Sussex Beacon, including an upcoming fundraising event.

Alan started their music career in 2007 and has independently released 4 solo albums and an album for his show ‘The way old friends do: a celebration of ABBA’, which he performed at Brighton Fringe in 2021.
