  • The Sims 4 is Capitalism, The Sims 2 is Hedonism
Oh hey all you gorgeous at home stunners. We hope you are the most well and safe!
This week we chat what we've been up to aka playing The Sims. The obsession is real and we discuss the virtues and pitfalls of The Sims 4 vs The Sims 2 plus the many, stunning and iconic graces of true Sim-Stan, Juno Birch.
We've mainly been watching Netflix's newest ridiculous, yet heart-warming, reality show 'Too Hot To Handle', which sees dating take on an eerily prophetic distancing twist. Plus Olivia rewatches 'The Sound of Music' and recommends several podcasts including 'All The Way With...' which has amongst it's guests the gorgeous Danielle Vanier.

  • Queer in the Time of Covid
Hello our sweet lockdown angels! How goes it? We promised we'd be doing something over these next few freaky months and we aren't ones to disappoint! Welcome to our mini-series, 'Queer in the Time of Covid' where we talk about all of our usual stuff, but with a pandemic twist! It's been important for us to have some time to switch off and talk Netflix, books and dumb news, but we don't want to ignore the elephant in the room either, and it's clear this is a super-stressful, weird time for lots of us, so we hope to bring you some levity AND some real-talk cos like, why choose?
This week we take you through our respective 'journeys' with Corona so far, chat about you know, like, the state of the world and stuff, and then dive in to all our usual topics, like book recs, TV, queer news and our angel on earth, Celine.
    Go on, press play!
p.s. Like we've said at the end of the pod, it's right weird right now, and if you want someone to talk to, you know where we are!

Whilst we figure out a way to bring you the pod in some form of it's full glory we thought we'd send out some lil lols and bring you some bloops from the past few months.
So if you've been missing our voices never fear! Here we are making mistakes and laughing a LOT about it!
We hope you are all staying safe and healthy.
    Longing 4 u always xoxo

  • Lesbian Bob Ross: Portrait of a Lady on Fire, Love is Blind and Suzanne Moore
Another day, another pod. This week we're celebrating Olivia's burgeoning career as an unboxing influencer. Thank you to #mygoodfriendsatg*usto.
We review stunning new film 'Portrait of a Lady on Fire' and Lucy is reminded of brilliant lesbian artist Gluck, who's painting 'YouWe' can be explored further here: https://www.royalacademy.org.uk/article/magazine-gluck-brighton-museum-art-gallery-diana-souhami. Also for the mentioned New Yorker article, click here: https://www.newyorker.com/culture/cultural-comment/portrait-of-a-lady-on-fire-is-more-than-a-manifesto-on-the-female-gaze.
Olivia's read a couple of books including the lesbian answer to Bridget Jones, 'In At The Deep End' from Kate Davies. Plus, we weigh in on the very disappointing and positively transphobic 'opinion' piece written by Suzanne Moore.
We also recap the rest of gob-smacking television 'Love is Blind' and have a brief word on the first couple eps of the new season of 'RuPaul's Drag Race'.
