  • Atypical, Modern Love and being 'Self-Partnered'
We're back bebes! Lucy has just about enough voice to get back in the podcast saddle and get an ep out but as you'll hear she's extra croaky. So soz, not soz about that.
In this glorious ep we talk the new BBC adaptation of 'His Dark Materials', in which Lucy has a nerdy freak out about it not being wholly bad. We also talk the exciting news of the upcoming 'Kacey Musgraves Christmas Show', Russell T Davies' emotive appearance on 'Desert Island Discs' and we discuss Emma Watson's new phrase 'self-partnered' i.e. single.
We do a deep dive on the new series of a shared favourite, 'Atypical' including having a look at the burgeoning queer storyline of Casey! Plus we talk about 'Modern Love', a great tv series based on the weekly column from The New York Times.

  • A Lost Voice Memo
Ah sweet huns- unfortunately this weekend Lucy lost her voice just before our planned recording sesh in some unknown bout of illness via a raucous wedding dance floor.
However, before she was completely silenced (a tragedy, we know) we recorded this short note whilst hanging out in a haunted cloakroom. You can tell from this recording that Lucy's voice was not long for this world (RIP). We thought we'd release this because, why not (take a crazy chance)?
We hope to be back to normal service ASAP!
