On this episode I bring on Joe Cooper and Cory rich who are the cofounders of Evolv, a leadership development platform. They found a hole in the work place with how each manager manages in a different way, where as employees respond differently to different mangers. They teamed up to help solve this issue and decided to create a software. Joe has a background in physcology and Cory comes from the sales world, so together they are the dream team! In this episode I sit down with Conrad Smith, who is the Co-founder and CEO at Graphite Systems Inc, they streamline the procurement as they work with suppliers. Conrad worked in this industry for 25 years, and at his most recent job Adobe for 10 years before quitting to start his own company. He gives a lot of insight into starting a software company and what it takes to get it off the ground. He talks about his decision to leave where he was comfortable because he knew he would regret it later on if someone created this product before him. A great guy and a great listen!

On this episode I bring on Alex Fiedler who is a technical writer and content strategist who advises and creates infrastructure for new startups. He is someone who is passionate about technical documentation and believes he could help startups save a lot of money in the long run by starting out right. "Words Matter" is what he believes and I can tell he is going to crush it!

I talk with Spencer Merrifield, the owner and founder of Lifetime Epoxy Utah. They specialize in concrete coatings and finishings. He talks about how he started this to make a little extra money and it ended up turning into a full business. Now with employees he plans to grow even more and expand. He also talks about his passion of wanting to change the idea behind the contractor industry and what he thinks could be improved!

I sit down with the founders of Nectar CBD Products Dale Guthrie and Sean Despain to talk about how they have started this great company. The are turning their niche to focus on beauty products and feminine care with their new line of products. We talk about how they got to where they are today and what inspired them to start this journey.

I talk with the founder of The Forge, Keagan Mataele, about his business in Utah where people can go to become a Blacksmith for a day. He talks about what it took to get started and how he came up with the idea of it and what he did to get people to come in the doors. This business is nothing like you have heard before! Tiffany Pritchett is an amazing woman who has followed her dreams and passion in creating a one of a kind Bridal shop with a full service salon inside. Starting at age 20 she took a leap of faith and chose to start what is now Pritchétt Bridal and Salon. With the wedding dress side one of the most popular in the state, and the Salon side one of the fastest growing in the nation, I talk to her about how she started it all and what led her to where she is at today. She is the most amazing person you will ever meet and she also happens to be my wife!

This is the first episode of Quest for Dough! Where I will be following along people’s “Quest” to doing what they have always dreamed of doing. I will continue to interview them over the years to see how there journey is going and the experiences they have.
