Artie finally made it!! This was a rocky episode because we are still trying to put together. We discuss how Joe and Artie met playing football in high school. They both were into the same music and would share CD’s with each other. Artie has a fantastic story about burning CD’s Before Limewire became the primary destination for music file sharing. Artie is Half Puerto Rican and Black, thus his interest come from a verity of friends and family members. His tastes include Hyphy, Salsa, R&B, Underground Hip hop, and Reggaetón. We also get to discuss the power of Video Game Music opening my eyes to its cultural influence on people and their taste.

It has been an interesting week. Joe just moved into a new place right before the lock down. He is becoming more and more irritated by the circumstances. We rationalize and attempt to understand the benefits of this outbreak. It is possible that we all come closer because of this crisis and maybe we can all agree on a better public healthcare system IDK.  Anyway Joe and his lady friend have started taking Italian lessons online to keep busy. Let’s see where this goes.

This week the boys take an impulsive drive down to San diego and meet up with Joe and Carlos. This is part one of the conversation stay tuned for part two.
