  • The Science of Belonging: Dr. Marcus Collins on Why Human Connection Matters Now More Than Ever
    This one feels personal.

Because when I look back at the moments that changed my life, they all have one thing in common: people.

    A conversation. A person. A connection.

That's why I started Quick Before You Forget.

And that's why this conversation with Dr. Marcus Collins means so much to me.

We talked about culture, belonging, empathy, curiosity, leadership, and what it means to find your people in a world that often feels more divided than connected. But the line that stayed with me was simple and haunting:

"The challenge isn't that you don't belong. You just haven't found your people yet."

If you've ever questioned where you fit, who you are, or whether your people exist, this episode is for you. Because sometimes the reminder we need most is that we're not nearly as alone as we think we are. And what hope and comfort there is in that simple truth.

  • Everywhere is Possible: Henry Manuel on Why Staring Before You Feel Ready Changes Everything
Last July, my family and I were standing in the Badlands when I asked a stranger to take our picture.

    That stranger was Henry Manuel.

At the time, he was riding a motorcycle around the world. We talked for a few minutes, exchanged information, and went our separate ways. Or so I thought.

Eight months later, we reconnected for this conversation. And now, as this episode is being released, I'm freshly home from my own solo cross-country road trip. The timing feels too perfect to ignore. Because what started as a chance encounter in South Dakota became a conversation about something much bigger than travel.

It's about saying yes before you're ready. It's about choosing curiosity over fear. It's about concerts, strangers who become friends, unexpected detours, and discovering that some of the best parts of life happen when you stop trying to control every detail.

Henry has spent the last 18 months riding a motorcycle across continents, collecting stories, friendships, and reminders that people are far better than we often give them credit for. And somewhere between the Badlands, Guatemala, Ecuador, and a few conversations about music and adventure, I realized this episode wasn't really about seeing the world.

It's about being open to it. If you've ever felt stuck, burned out, afraid to take the leap, or wondered if there's something more waiting for you on the other side of your comfort zone, this conversation is for you.

Because Henry said something near the end of our conversation that perfectly captures the spirit of this episode:

    "Everywhere is possible."

And he's right. In this episode:
    • Why travel is really the love of learning
    • What fear, excitement, and growth have in common
    • The kindness of strangers and the power of human connection
    • Why the concerts, adventures, and detours are often what we remember most
    • What happens when you stop waiting to be ready
    • How saying yes can change the direction of your life

  • Lead Bigger: The Power of Human Connection with Anne Chow
The most powerful force in leadership, and in life, isn't strategy, intelligence, authority, or reps.

    It's human connection.

In this episode of Quick Before You Forget, I sit down with my friend Anne Chow, transformational leader, former CEO of AT&T Business, bestselling author of Lead Bigger, and founder of The Rewired CEO.

Anne was the first woman of color CEO in AT&T's 140+ year history, but what makes her extraordinary isn't her title. It's her belief that leadership is a choice available to every single one of us.

Together, we explore what it means to lead bigger, why relationships are the foundation of meaningful impact, the (not-so) surprising lessons leaders can learn from orchestra conductors, and how curiosity, kindness, and courage can transform both our careers and our lives.

We also talk about music, mixtapes, friendship, purpose, and the conversations that change us forever. Because sometimes the biggest leadership lesson is remembering that people matter.

    And that includes you.

  • You Matter: A Courageous Conversation About Mental Health, Motherhood, and Healing with Sharon Johnson
I started this Quick Before You Forget journey after getting laid off in January 2026 from what I believed and hoped was my dream job.

There was no master plan, aside from intentionally embracing the chaos of building the rocket ship in the air. There is just me on my yellow brick road making a conscious decision to keep showing up, keep creating, and trust who I’d meet along the way.

In this special Mother's Day episode of Quick Before You Forget, I sat down with Sharon Johnson, who I’ve been connected with mostly through TikTok for four years. And honestly, it showed through in our vulnerability, honesty, and very real friendship despite having never spoken before this moment.

We talked about leaving a belief system that no longer aligned. About motherhood without perfectionism. About suicidal ideation, TMS, therapy, and the slow rebuilding of hope. About body image, shame, boundaries, and learning to trust yourself again.

She said a lot that resonated with me deeply, including: What if life isn’t something you have to get right…what if it’s an experiment you’re allowed to live inside of?

We talked about managing mental health like a chronic illness without shame. About letting your kids see you care for yourself. About the sacredness of ordinary moments.

If you’ve ever outgrown the story you were handed…
If you’ve ever wondered whether you’re allowed to change or to have more fun or to create the life you’ve always dreamed of…

    You are.

This one felt brave. And honest. And full of hope. I can’t wait for you to listen to it and tell me what you think.

  • How to Stop Losing Yourself (And Start Becoming Who You Were Meant to Be) with Dr. Antonio Harrison
Welcome to Coach Doc and Ty's circle of trust. Things get real in this second conversation with Dr. Antonio Harrison on Quick Before You Forget and it's meant to meet you exactly where you are.

In this deeply honest episode of Quick Before You Forget, I sit down with behavior scientist and coach, Dr. Antonio Harrison (Coach Doc), to talk about identity, addiction, self-awareness, and what it really takes to rebuild your life from the inside out.

    We explore:
The moment he realized he was becoming his father, and intentionally chose differently
Why self-awareness isn’t something you build, but rather something you stop avoiding
The truth about addiction (and why it’s often a relationship with yourself)
How to break generational patterns and choose a new path What masculinity really means and why you get to define it
How to stop numbing and start actually living

This episode is a powerful reminder that no matter how far you’ve drifted, you’re always one decision away from coming back to yourself.
