-Maryland Governor Larry Hogan (R) has declared a state of emergency as his state has seen an epidemic of overdose-related deaths due to due to heroin and opioid addiction. According to Jeff, Maryland experienced 1468 overdose-related deaths between January and September of 2016, and that period was not unique, as the rate of overdoses has been increasing for several years now. The guys examine the issue of drug abuse, and Stu looks back on the 1986 cocaine-induced death of basketball star Len Bias.
