Where Is God in This Mess?
Sometimes life feels like a shattered mirror—broken pieces everywhere, reflecting pain, confusion, and heartache. You may wonder, "Where is God in all this?" The silence can feel deafening. But friend, God hasn't gone anywhere.
Psalm 34:18 tells us, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." God is not distant in the chaos—He's right there, holding you in the middle of it. You may not see Him, but He sees you. Every tear, every unanswered question, every sleepless night—He's present through it all.
In John 11, even Jesus wept when Lazarus died. Not because He didn't have a plan to bring life, but because He enters into our sorrow before He brings healing. God isn't just the rescuer; He's the comforter before the rescue.
So if you feel like your world is falling apart, hold on to this: the mess doesn't scare God. He's already working in it, through it, and beyond it. Your pain has His full attention. He's not finished yet.
You're not alone in this mess. You are loved, held, and seen—by the God who never leaves.
