While in the Canadian military, I was in Croatia and Bosnia during the war there and was able to see first hand what happens when political extremists take control. After that war, I also worked for the war crimes unit of Citizenship and Immigration Canada and the International War Crimes Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia. While working at Nanyang Tech University in Singapore, I published a sole author book in national security intelligence requirements. This past year I co-authored the book, "SUBMISSION: The Danger of Political Islam to Canada – With a Warning to America, written with co-authors Tahir Gora, Saied Shoaaib, Jonathon Cotler, and Rick Gill with a foreword by Raheel Raza.

Therefore, my interpretation of what the Canadian Jewish News is doing in this specific case is based on an analysis of many of their articles concerning the emerging threat of the Islamists to the Jews. Are Jews who read publications like the CJN getting a good look at what is going on in their own backyard? Or are they being subjected to intentional distraction. The scariest part is history repeating itself. Again. Did the Jewish community learn nothing in the 1920s and 1930s about keeping an eye out for the future?

According to the background information provided by the Subcommittee, “The Muslim Brotherhood is a radical Islamist organization that has generated a network of affiliates in over 70 countries. The Brotherhood has been designated as a terrorist organization by multiple countries including Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. The United States has designated multiple Muslim Brotherhood affiliates as terrorist organizations, including Hamas.”

Among those testifying were Zuhdi Jasser, M.D. , President & Founder, American Islamic Forum for Democracy, Dr. Hillel Fradkin, Ph.D., a Senior Fellow at the Hudson Institute, and Dr. Jonathan Schanzer, Ph.D., Senior Vice President, Foundation for Defense of Democracies.

Perhaps the most startling testimony , however, came from The Honorable Daniel Benjamin, from the John Sloan Dickey Center for International Understanding, Dartmouth University. Ambassador (ret’d) Benjamin was formerly the Ambassador-at-Large and Coordinator for Counterterrorism at the U.S. State Department.

Given the highly suspicious nature of Tommy Robinson’s arrest on 25 May 2018 and the so-called trial that lasted less than 15 minutes. The entire elapsed time from arrest to sentencing was six hours. And following that, the Crown Prosecution Service delayed his hearing on 10 July 2018 because they were not ready. How can they not be ready this time when last time they arrested, charged, convicted and jailed him on the same day?

The issue of inchoate rage. This is a fancy way of saying that a given population is getting increasingly angry with their government or controllers. They may not be able to articulate their frustrations and anger in a cohesive manner, but the problem are nonetheless very real. And so is their anger. That anger will eventually express itself and it can do so in many ways. The Brexit vote was one such outcome. But the anger can also come out in other ways. Opposition groups get formed which have a violent or potentially violent ideology. Riots occur. Violence is offered to government authorities.

In typical Orwellian fashion, the new redesigned Summer Jobs Program is funding exactly those groups who most violently oppose abortion and advocate death or rejection to gays and transgendered groups. Many of the groups being funded also have both direct and indirect ties to terrorism funding, according to the Government of Canada itself. Many of the groups advocate violence against women.

Al-Quds (Arabic for Jerusalem) Day has been held on the last Friday of Ramadan in the Islamic Republic since the 1979 revolution.

It was created as a counter to Jerusalem Day, held this year on May 24th, on which Israelis celebrate the reunification of the city after Israel’s victory in the 1967 Six-Day War.

Iran has sworn the destruction of the Jewish state, and backs militant groups with similar ideologies such as the Gaza Strip’s Hamas and Lebanon’s Hezbollah. Flags and clothing bearing the insignia of both organizations were wore by many in the crowds.

These Islamists are continuously staging anti-Jewish movements particularly problematic in Toronto, Canada and London, England. The Iranian government uses surrogate mosques, usually Pakistani, to funnel foreign money and pay protesters to attend these demonstrations to show perceived power and influence by the Iranian regime. These organized demonstrations are an increasing headache to western governments.
