Quiz or Homework for TQ 036 Veronica from New Zealand

I gave my Listening and Speaking students a quiz last week based on TQ 036 with Veronica from New Zealand. I wanted them to hear her NZ accent.

Teachers can use this as either a quiz or as homework. This quiz might be too hard for some students, so it might be better used as homework. They can listen and answer the questions at the same time. You could use it in class as well, if you wanted to spend that much class time on it. For my quiz, the students prepared at home by listening and taking notes, then they took the quiz based on what they remembered from the podcast and from their notes.

If you are improving your English, you can either use this PDF while you are listening to the podcast or you can test yourself by using it as a quiz.

By the way, there have been lots of downloads of TQ 036 in the last four weeks, from Guangxi Province in China and from somewhere else in China. Sometimes my statistics just tell me the name of the country where the downloads are coming from and not the province or city. I know that about 40 of the downloads from Guangxi Province were by my students, but where are the rest coming from? Another teacher at my school? Another university in Nanning or one in Guilin?
