We quite like a podcast and we quite like the Isle of Wight, where we live.
So please say hello to QWightLike. A Podcast, and enjoy the pilot episode of our new, soon to be regular, riff on a range of subjects that resonate on and from the island including food, drink, music, art, culture, news, politics, life the universe and everything in between.
For this first episode we introduce ourselves as your co-hosts, Rory Forbes and Tim Dedman, both long time Wightphiles and now permanent residents. We cover our personal journeys to, and occasionally from, the island, discuss the full English (!) cooked breakfast and where to get a good one on the Wight and then warm down with discussions on exciting and important local initiatives in Ventnor, developments in Totland Bay before wrapping up with some political observations of both national and international topicality.
As a bonus "feature" we discuss the naming options for this podcast that we have ruled out ... for now.
