Rabbi Friedman is leaving his mark on the world! Born in Manchester, and raised in Sydney, Australia, he has served communities in the US, Canada, Australia, and the UK. His articles have appeared in the Journal of Halacha and Contemporary Society, the Jewish Press, the Jerusalem Post, Aish.com, and numerous other outlets. He was the inaugural chair of the National Holocaust Monument of Canada and is a world-renowned expert on the intersection of halachah and international relations.
He is author of the new book “The Transformative Daf” based on the Daf Yomi cycle (the practice of learning one page of Talmud a day and completing studying the entire Talmud every seven and a half years). In this new book, Rabbi Friedman explores Tractate Rosh Hashana and shares thoughts about how to make each page (called a "Daf) relevant and practical in our lives.
In this episode, we take a peak into Rabbi Daniel's world and some of his thoughts about how to make Rosh Hashanah and the upcoming year a truly transformative one.
And, on the topic of transformation... have you picked up a copy of my new book, "The Four Elements of an Empowered Life"?
If you haven't, I would love to recommend it to you in building your personal spiritual strategic plan for the new year. It will give you deeper insight into yourself, your purpose, and offers real strategies for long-lasting change. It is available on Amazon and wherever Jewish books are sold.
