  • Whispers
A bit more on the artsy side but I like how mellow this all turned out. All strings used were made from vocals.

I have always enjoyed listening to darker shades of cinematic Hip Hop and here is my take on a grittier one.

  • Billie Eilish - Your Power Roberto Sass Remix
Try not to abuse your power
I know we didn't choose to change
You might not wanna lose your power
    But havin' it's so strange
She said "You were a hero, you played the part"
"But you ruined her in a year, don't act like it was hard"
And you swear you didn't know (didn't know, didn't know)
No wonder why you didn't ask
She was sleepin' in your clothes (in your clothes, in your clothes)
But now she's got to get to class
    How dare you?
    And how could you?
Will you only feel bad when they find out?
If you could take it all back
    Would you?
Try not to abuse your power
I know we didn't choose to change
You might not wanna lose your power
    But havin' it's so strange
I thought that I was special, you made me feel
Like it was my fault, you were the devil, lost your appeal
Does it keep you in control? (in control, in control)
For you to keep her in a cage?
And you swear you didn't know (didn't know, didn't know)
You said you thought she was your age
    How dare you?
    And how could you?
Will you only feel bad if it turns out that they kill your contract?
    Would you?
Try not to abuse your power
I know we didn't choose to change
You might not wanna lose your power
    But power isn't pain

  • Sirens
First of all, I would like to thank everyone who has paid attention to the very sporadic uploads that I made here over the past few years, I really appreciate this and at the same time, I have felt really bad about not being able to follow up thanks to work commitments. Music I have still made by snatching a few hours from my sleeping pattern every now and then but unlike before it's usually been a long process completing something. In a way, by staying away I think that I finally might have found a place to call my home musically which is within the Chillstep, Future Bass, and Future Garage genres, and I will try to get a few of these songs up here onwards.
But first, this ambient track was just released on the collaborative album Alien Oceans by Legacy of Thought. This is an adaptation of an old track titled One Breath made years ago. I reused the effect layers from that track to make something new.
This is probably something to listen to while studying, working, or even trying to fall asleep.
    Hope you like it ;o)

About R O B E R T O S A S S

From the publisher's feed

Due to Soundcloud's way of mishandling my releases, both when it comes to cover artworks and vocal snippets used in my music, I am hereby leaving this platform and will focus my releases with my label Legacy of Thought and uploads to Bandcamp and YouTube.
