While practising privately in London, Ontario, Dr. Judson also acts as an assistant professor of Psychiatry and Family Medicine at the University of Western Ontario. On this week's episode we talk with Dr. Shaya Dhinsa, manager of sexual health at the Middlesex London Health Unit (MLHU) talks about the services they provide, including their sexual health clinic and harm reduction approaches to SUDs and intravenous drug use. We focus in on naloxone; what it is, how to administer it, and how to obtain it for free at the MLHU. Also learn how to recognize signs of an opioid overdose in this informative episode.
