The speech was given at the Ohr HaTorah Congregation of Phoenix, Arizona on 11/20/22. It was at our children’s Doniel & Chevy’s vort. We discuss how even though life has its ups and downs the kindness of God is always the driving force.

We relate the perspective of the Alter of Kelm on why Hashem tests us. We contrast and compare his opinion with that of the Ramban and the Book of Education(Sefer HaChinuch). This class was given at the Phoenix Community Kollel on 11/16/22.

We discuss the dispute of whether the flood and in Eretz Yisrael and how to survive the waves that are the vicissitudes of life. This class given in my son’s Yeshiva, Shar HaTorah in Monsey.

We present a few short insights. How does one survive in our dangerous world? What is the most difficult aspect of Teshuva? Moshe and Noach were faced with the same exact situation but reacted in different ways.

**Throwback Episode** We explain the Maharal in his Be’ar Hagola who comments on Brachos (7a) where it is related that God asked R’ Yishmael to give him a blessing. We contrast this to Noach attitude towards the flood.

**Throwback Episode** We discuss why the Torah had to introduce the creation of light by stating that there was darkness in its absence. We also explain how one’s actions should always be for the sake of Heaven. This class was given at Ahavas Torah of Scottsdale on 10/15/09
