We present a few short insights. How does one survive in our dangerous world? What is the most difficult aspect of Teshuva? Moshe and Noach were faced with the same exact situation but reacted in different ways.

**Throwback Episode** We explain the Maharal in his Be’ar Hagola who comments on Brachos (7a) where it is related that God asked R’ Yishmael to give him a blessing. We contrast this to Noach attitude towards the flood.

**Throwback Episode** We discuss why the Torah had to introduce the creation of light by stating that there was darkness in its absence. We also explain how one’s actions should always be for the sake of Heaven. This class was given at Ahavas Torah of Scottsdale on 10/15/09

This is a shiur given by my brother-in-law, R’ Shlomo Berkowitz. He discusses the machlokes between the Ritva and Raavad in Succah 11b about whether hidur mitzvah is d’oraisa or derabbanon. This shiur was given at the Phoenix Community Kollel for Yeshiva bein hazmanim of chol u’moed Succos.

This is our annual Yahrtzeit shiur in memory of my mother Svetlana Bas Yaakov. We discuss Yitzchak contribution to his progeny as a forefather. This class was given at our Succah.

We discuss the opinion of the Magen Avraham that an Esrog Hamurkov isn’t an Esrog “at all”. This shiur was given at the Phoenix Community Kollel for Yeshiva bein hazmanim of chol u’moed Succos.

We discuss how it’s possible to endure posthumously in people’s hearts. One doesn’t need a position or an appointment to be a Sovereign, Kohen, or Torah Scholar if one is already in essence such a person.

We analyze the two stories in that Gemara to put forth a point. What is the reason that one might enter the Garden of Eden alive? We also relate how that insight can be an important lesson for Rosh HaShannah.
