President Trump gave a primetime address, where he updated the world on the war in Iran, and said: "We are going to hit them extremely hard over the next two to three weeks. We’re going to bring them back to the Stone Ages, where they belong."

He then insisted that "discussions are ongoing" and Iran wants to make a deal. Tehran has said that's not the case, and they've refused to enter into a third round of negotiations after they were attacked during the first two attempts.

Jeffrey Sachs, an economist, best-selling author, and professor at Columbia University, described Trump's threats as "incoherent, nasty, illegal and reckless," noting that the U.S. president is broadcasting his war crimes to the world, declaring he wants to turn Iran into the next Gaza, and giving Iran no reason to consider talks.

The United Nations is warning that Lebanon is “at a breaking point” as Israel’s illegal war of aggression on the country has left more than 1,300 people dead (many of whom was women, children and healthcare workers) and more than 1.1 million people displaced.

Independent Journalist Jalyssa Dugrot noted that this is an “existential war” for the Lebanese people, and while many have been forced to live in cars and tents as they struggle to survive Israel’s latest attacks on their homes and communities, they are continuing to persevere and fight for their land.

It’s April Fools Day, which means someone must have told Trump that Iran has a new president who wants a ceasefire… because that’s the opposite of what Tehran is saying. This, as Trump now has a “2-3 week” timeline he is promoting for the end of the war in Iran, while the U.S. prepares for the possibility of an attempted ground invasion.

Laith Marouf, journalist and executive director of Free Palestine TV, noted that Iran has the power to decide WHEN this war ends and HOW it ends, and we are seeing the Axis of Resistance more united than ever, as Iran, Hezbollah and Ansar Allah join together in attacks on Israel, and Tehran continues to target U.S. vassal states in the Persian Gulf.

Reports say the Trump Admin is desperate for an off-ramp from the war in Iran it just started... and willing to drop the demand for Tehran to remove restrictions on the Strait of Hormuz. This, as the U.S. also continues to move toward reported plans for a "special ops" ground invasion that would severely escalate the conflict.

Carl Zha, a geopolitical analyst and Host of the Silk & Steel Podcast, noted that the Trump's Admin desperation is showing in a number of ways, as it removes oil sanctions on Russia AND Iran, and as its vassal states around the world see the start of a fuel crisis.

But Iran isn't budging, and it is instead implementing a toll in order for ships to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, in Iranian territorial waters, that is paid in Chinese Yuan... de-dollarizing the vital waterway for oil trade.

The U.S. Empire is in crisis, as the Trump Admin finds itself unable to control the war it launched against Iran, and the idea of U.S. dominance in West Asia falls apart... almost as quickly as the 13 military bases Iran's attacks have rendered "uninhabitable" in the last month.

Journalist and Geopolitical Analyst Danny Haiphong noted that the war in Iran is exposing the decline of the U.S. empire, as Washington is in no place to try to repair the damage done to its military bases, or the damage done to the Petrodollar, as the Gulf Monarchies learn the hard way that "U.S. military protection" is a myth, and as Iran exercises full control over the Strait of Hormuz.

The U.S. and Israel are continuing to terrorize the Iranian people for refusing to overthrow their government and embrace their oppressors. Recent bombings have targeted residential neighborhoods, religious sites, schools, hospitals and cancer treatment centers, etc. An endless list of war crimes “made in the USA.”

Dr. Setareh Sadeqi, of the University of Tehran, noted that overnight bombings in her city of Isfahan likely used 2,000 lb. “Bunker Buster” bombs that both terrorized the civilians and targeted the same sites of the U.S. and Israel have tried to hit before, as they seem to be “running out of targets.”

She also said the Iranian are continuing about their daily lives in every way possible, in yet another form of resistance, as they continue to stand for their nation in nightly rallies that see million of people taking to the streets.

The Israeli army’s chief of staff, Eyal Zamir, is warning that the Zionist military is “going to collapse in on itself” if it does not get more reinforcements, saying: “The reserves will not last, I am raising 10 red flags.”

It's Monday morning, which means President Trump is right back to insisting that the U.S. and Iran are on the verge of a deal, even as Tehran says the talks he references are "imaginary," and the U.S. continues to move troops to the region for a potential ground invasion.

Trump is now openly threatening Iran's Kharg Island, as reports speculate on how the U.S. will attempt to invade, and whether we could see a Special Operation aimed at "seizing 1,000 pounds of uranium" from inside Iran. Yes, really.

This, as Iran's strategic response continues, with the 87th wave of Operation True Promise 4 and strikes on Israel's Haifa oil refinery... a reminder of what Iran has the capability to do if Trump decides to go forward with his plan to just "take the oil."

The Pentagon is reeling, after Iran destroyed a crucial $270 Million E-3 Sentry spy plane—of which, the U.S. Air Force has just 16 left—in an attack on an air base in Saudi Arabia, that also took out multiple refueling tankers.

Not only are the E-3’s not in production anymore, but the Wall Street Journal is reporting that the closest replacement, a Boeing E-7 Wedgetail, would cost $700 Million to produce and the program is “years behind schedule.”

Reports say the Trump Admin is planning for “weeks of ground operations” in Iran, but at the rate they’re going… Washington is looking at more embarrassment and more American soldiers coming home in body bags.

This, as Israel continues to commit horrific war crimes in Lebanon, targeting and murdering three Lebanese journalists in a car… and then proceeding to strike and murder the nine paramedics who rushed to their aid.

Reports say the Pentagon is planning to send another 10,000 ground troops to the Middle East, as President Trump again extends his own deadline for Iran to fully open the Strait of Hormuz—this time, until April 6. This, as reports are starting to admit that the damage Iran has inflicted is severe, and includes making 13 U.S. Military bases in the region “uninhabitable.”

International Relations and Security Analyst Mark Sleboda noted that if the U.S. does move forward with a ground invasion, whether that’s targeting Iran’s coastline along the Strait or attempting to seize Kharg Island, it will “disastrous,” and nowhere near worth the price American troops will be forced to pay.
