Russian President Putin called out Europe for “hindering U.S. efforts to achieve a settlement” by refusing to offer a serious proposal, and warned that: “If Europe were to launch a war against us, events could very quickly reach a point where there is simply... no one left for us to negotiate with.”

Former CIA Analyst Larry Johnson noted that it’s hard to see this conflict being resolved with a deal with the West, and it’s becoming increasingly likely that it will be solved militarily, with Russia taking control from Odessa up to the Dnieper river, as the Kiev regime continues to fall apart.

Retired U.S. Air Force Lieutenant Colonel and Professor, Karen Kwiatkowski, noted that the proposals that have been reported on so far from the U.S., Europe and Kiev are “not serious,” and Russia has no reason to end its SMO when its key national security concerns are being ignored, and Russian forces are wearing down Kiev’s military on the battlefield.

The walls are closing in around Zelensky, as his Chief-of-Staff and right-hand man, Andrey Yermak, just resigned after his properties were raided in a growing corruption investigation that has already hit multiple members of Zelensky’s inner circle, including his former business partner.

This, as media in the West are intentionally misrepresenting recent comments by Russian President Putin, and claiming he is vowing to fight “to the last Ukrainian.” In reality, Putin is criticizing those in the West who are profiting off of the war, and who are willing to continue it until there are no more Ukrainians left to fight:

“The ones attacking Mr. Witkoff are precisely those who align with this second point of view, those who want to join the Ukrainian establishment in siphoning off money while prolonging hostilities until the last Ukrainian dies. But I have already said publicly: in fact, we are prepared for this.”

Reports say that last week, U.S. Army Secretary Dan Driscoll went to Kiev, and warned that Ukrainian troops faced a dire situation on the battlefield and would suffer an imminent defeat against Russian forces. This, as the Trump Admin tries to make a deal with Russia, and Europe and Kiev present versions that would sabotage the talks altogether.

Jeffrey Sachs, an economist, best-selling author, and professor at Columbia University, argued that if the U.S. withdraws its support for Ukraine, then Europe won’t be able to handle the burden of the proxy war against Russia, and Kiev won’t be able to survive on its own… therefore, the war will come to an end.

The U.S. has a plan. Europe has a plan. Kiev has a plan. But do any of those plans really matter when they are all filled with points that Russia will swiftly reject?

International Relations and Security Analyst Mark Sleboda argued that all of the ongoing talks are a “moot point,” as they continue to ignore Russia’s most basic security concerns. He also noted that right now, Russia is advancing everywhere, and as a result:

“The butcher’s bill for the war of attrition is coming due. And we’re seeing it with this crumbling all along [the frontlines]. It’s not just Pokrovsk and Kupyansk. It’s Siversk, Lyman, Konstantinovka, Guliaipole…”

The more revisions the EU and Kiev make to Trump’s 28-point plan for Ukraine, the more ridiculous it is to assume that Russia would accept the document. Especially, as Russia is the side winning this war of attrition with advantages in manpower and weaponry that are leading to signifiant advances on the battlefield, as Kiev’s defensive lines start to fall apart.

Stanislav Krapivnik, a former U.S. Army officer, supply chain exec and military and geopolitical expert, noted that while the West is branding Trump’s offer as a type of surrender for Kiev, it’s actually asking Russia to capitulate to the West’s demand for a ceasefire with a “letter of intent” to try to make it look like NATO wants an end to the war.

As for the question of what Moscow is willing to accept, he pointed out that it seems the Russian government is finally coming to the conclusion that this conflict will have to be settled on the battlefield.

Trump is touting the “progress” made by the U.S., European and Ukrainian officials who gathered in Geneva on Sunday to hash it out over his 28-point plan for the war in Ukraine. But the EU’s reported revision is even more of a non-starter for Russia, as it removes key NATO expansions guarantees, and calls for a ceasefire along the current frontlines.

Former U.S. Diplomat and Geopolitical Analyst, Jim Jatras, noted that “NATO is NEVER honest,” and the alliance continues to push for a ceasefire in order to rearm Kiev’s forces, as they present plans with vague points that can be used against Russia in the future. Nothing has changed.

Zelensky says that he’s facing either losing Ukraine’s “dignity” or a key ally in the U.S. after he declared he was ready to work with the Trump Admin on “their vision” for ending war. That vision consists of a 28-point peace plan would force Kiev to give up NATO ambitions, claims to the Donbass and Crimea, and more.

The United Nations Security Council passed Resolution 2803 this week, after permanent members Russia and China chose to abstain instead of using their veto power. In addition to giving a framework for Gaza that would put Israel and the U.S. in control, the language of the motion is extremely vague, and it gives no guarantee that there will be an end to the genocide.

Craig Mokhiber, an international human rights lawyer and former senior United Nations human rights official, noted that: “the ceasefire is a lie. The idea that there is a peace process is a lie. What we have here in this resolution is a betrayal of historic proportions.”

He also said that while Russia and China may be going off of the Palestinian Authority’s support for the resolution, we have to remember that the PA operates “under occupation,” and “under the thumb of of the Americans.” And when it comes to the language that was passed: “this resolution doesn’t even demand the unfettered flow of aid. All it does is use some rhetorical language that underscores the importance of humanitarian aid.”

The Trump Admin is working on a 28-point plan to “settle” the war in Ukraine. At least, that’s according to a new report from Axios, which says that the deal would focus on: “peace in Ukraine, security guarantees, security in Europe, and future U.S. relations with Russia and Ukraine.”

Lt. Col. Daniel Davis, a U.S. Combat Veteran and National Security Analyst, noted that if the report is accurate, it may be the clearest sign yet that the U.S. is considering the situation on the battlefield, which is becoming increasingly dire for Kiev, as Russian forces advance all along the front lines, while Ukrainian defensive lines fall apart and Kiev faces hundreds of thousands of desertions.
