Will the U.S. pursue an all-out war in Venezuela, in another attempt for regime change? How is the U.S. going to handle the proxy war against Russia, as the government they built in Kiev is at risk of falling apart? And how is the U.S. going to try to contain the rise of China, as it presents the greatest challenge to Washington yet?

Those are a few of the pressing issues we discussed with Dr. John Mearsheimer, an author, international relations expert and professor at the University of Chicago. He noted that while the Trump Admin may be willing to attempt to make a deal with the current government in Venezuela, they are not likely to forget a Russian victory in Ukraine, or to back away from an increasingly powerful China.

The U.S.-backed National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) has released the results of a corruption investigation that has sent Kiev reeling: with Ukrainian Justice Minister Herman Halushchenko and Energy Minister Svitlana Grynchuk resigning, and Zelensky’s former business partner and Israeli dual-citizen, Timur Mindich, fleeing the country.

The scandal is said to have included the smuggling of over $100 MILLION from contractors building defenses for Ukraine’s nuclear energy facilities. But corruption in Kiev is nothing new…

Patrick Henningsen, Journalist, Geopolitical Analyst and Host of the 21st Century Wire, noted that NABU was established by the U.S. to cover up the corruption in post-2014 Ukraine, and the fact that it is now being used to expose Zelensky’s inner circle is evidence that the U.S. is ready for a new puppet in Kiev.

Ukrainian Justice Minister Herman Halushchenko and Energy Minister Svitlana Grynchuk have resigned, and Zelensky’s former business partner and Israeli dual-citizen, Timur Mindich, has fled the country, after they were all named in a corruption investigation involving the smuggling of over $100 Million from contractors building defenses for Ukraine’s nuclear energy facilities.

Former Ukrainian Diplomat and Whistleblower Andrii Telizhenko noted that this kind of scheme is very common among Kiev’s elite, and the latest findings from the U.S.-backed ‘National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine’ have nothing to do with targeting corruption, and everything to do with laying the groundwork for a coup against Zelensky.

Hezbollah Secretary General Naim Qassem has said that Israel’s ongoing violations of the ceasefire with strikes in southern Lebanon “cannot continue.” He noted that “everything has a limit,” and called out the U.S. for putting pressure on the Lebanese government “to make concessions without any reciprocal commitments or guarantees,” and wanting “to give Israel free rein.”

Laith Marouf, Journalist and Executive Director of Free Palestine TV, noted that the next phase of war is inevitable, given the fact that Israel has never ceased its attacks, and Hezbollah is preparing for future conflict accordingly. He also emphasized that when it comes to Israel: “they can genocide, but they cannot win an actual war.”

Russian forces are continuing to advance in the strategic cities of Pokrovsk, in the Donetsk region, and Kupyansk, in the Kharkov region, as the current state of Kiev's defensive lines are no match for Russia's ongoing war of attrition.

International Relations and Security Analyst Mark Sleboda noted that Pokrovsk is "in Russia's hands," and Kupyansk isn't far behind, as Kiev's forces have gone from being able to "hold and slow down Russian forces in certain areas," to the point where now "they can't stop or slow down Russian forces ANYWHERE."

The leader of Al-Qaeda in Syria, Abu Mohammed al-Jolani, claims to have left his terrorist past behind, as he was seen playing basketball with U.S. military personnel, and shaking hands with President Trump at the White House.

Independent Journalist Vanessa Beeley noted that both the U.S. and Russia are going through Jolani to maintain their influence in Syria. In Washington’s case, that includes plans for an airbase in Damascus and a security pact between Syria and Israel to maintain control of the south.

Dick Cheney was a heartless war criminal and a greedy war profiteer whose thirst for power led him to champion horrific wars that left millions of innocent civilians dead across the Middle East. His brand of evil knew no remorse, and that remained the case up until his death on Monday, at the age of 84.

Col. Larry Wilkerson, former Chief of Staff for Secretary of State Colin Powell, reflected on his time in the Bush Admin, where he noted that Cheney ran U.S. foreign policy and left a legacy of death and destruction that made himself rich, while millions paid the price with their lives.

Russia has issued a call for the remaining Ukrainian soldiers they have encircled in Pokrovsk and Kupyansk to surrender, noting that they have no chance of survival. This, as Zelensky seems more concerned about his latest photo-op in the region, and trying to secure weapons from NATO that won't change the balance of power on the battlefield.

Former CIA Analyst Larry Johnson noted that Russia holds the cards, and it's going to continue destroying Kiev's defensive lines and push further West, as it seeks to address the security concerns by force that NATO refuses to address through diplomacy.
