Growing up in the various music scenes of Dallas, Texas, Rachel began crafting her love of live singing and performance from a young age. She participated in local talent shows in her hometown of De Soto and in Dallas-proper, and much of her training came from her high school choral programs (De Soto High School and Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts), as well as The Black Academy of Arts and Letters, also known as TBAAL. She also trained in a few cities with the Broadway Dreams Foundation. She has loved receiving information from as many organizations and schools as possible. There is no denying her connection to her faith and how she truly feels blessed to share her gift with audiences across the country.
