Early on in her career as an ICU Registered Nurse, Avery noticed that the majority of the reasons her patients found themselves in the ICU were because of illnesses and diseases that could be linked to chronic stress.
She made the decision to get out of the reactive side of medicine in 2015 and started building her business to help high achievers prevent and reverse the negative health effects of stress. Despite practicing what the research showed was effective, Avery experienced a significant episode of burnt out at the end of 2018 and this has left her with a chronic illness and disability. Frustrated that she was "doing everything right" and it still didn't prevent burnout, Avery dove back into the research and looked more carefully at her own habits and beliefs and found the missing pieces of the puzzle to truly prevent burnout.
Olivia, the creator & founder of Burning Woman Festival, is not only a fire walking instructor but also an empowerment coach.
Running from the 21st to the 23rd of July, the Burning Woman Festival unfolded in the enchanting setting of the Ladies Field at Belvoir Castle, drawing more than 600 women from across the country.
The catalyst to Olivia's transformational journey began with a firewalk. This deep connection to fire and her inspiration to gather women together led to the inspiration for "Burning Woman". Little did she know then that this would blossom into a powerful movement centred around healing and empowerment.
The magic of Burning Woman Festival is best experienced firsthand, where the story behind its inception and its visionary goals for the future will captivate you. For further information about the Burning Woman Festival, visit www.burningwoman.co.uk.
Briana is the founder and director of Briana McAteer Coaching and TEDx speaker, who coaches women to heal their relationship with food so that they can stop binge and emotional eating.
After years of struggling with her self-esteem, especially in regards to food and her weight, Briana decided she wanted to become a woman who no longer felt controlled by food and was going to learn to honour her body and her health first. In doing so, she not only found emotional freedom from the constant battle with food and weight, but also learned the intricate ways our relationship with ourselves is displayed in our relationship with food. The emotional weight of people pleasing, self-judgement and low self-worth has us reaching for food and is exactly what she helps her clients overcome.
Briana is a Certified Nutrition and Lifestyle Coach and Personal Trainer and she combines these disciplines with her own experience to help women experience Food Freedom.
