It was such an honour to be interviewed by Millicent Haughey on what it means for me to be a Radically Alive Woman.

We speak of the limitations of the mind and the role of fear and anger as resources to operate and act from a different point of origin than the mind. Thanks to Millicent's questions we also got to talk about the collaboration amongst women and the collaboration of women with men, as an original creative process.

When this conversation was recorded, I still called this broadcast a Podcast. Well, things change quickly in a radically alive world. Also, you may notice that my voice is a bit husky and pitchy at times from my conscious anger practice that day.

This week's guest Sally Greenwood is a fiery, alive woman running The Combat Center in West Auckland, where for a little more than a year she has been offering a women's empowerment programme called "Power Up".

Sally shares her personal journey, and her growing up process from having been an intensive care nurse, a really "good wife, good person, good girl" rescuing the world around her, to becoming the co-founder of The Combat Center. She shares of her inexplicable health problems, hitting rock bottom, and a recovery journey which lead her to a physical and emotional healing journey.

Listen in for a refreshing conversation that makes Sally's journey relatable far beyond her personal story. It is the perfect example of a woman's journey of adaptation and rescuing, fuelled by the fear of not being valuable unless she helps others. It shows a path of empowerment through reconnecting with her own physical body, own power, and agency. When Sally chose to go first, magically, a Village of Women appeared around her.

Sally has been using The Combat Center since as a doorway from modern culture to next women's culture, empowering and collaborating with women from where they are.

This interview with Annika Korsten is one of the bravest conversations I have yet had on this Edgecast.

Both women's anger and women's sexuality are topics that are underrepresented in mainstream culture. Bringing both together into one conversation may seem dangerous. Yet: Where if not in sexuality would lie a key to ecstatic aliveness? And how could you unfold into your sexuality if you cannot hold space for it with the clarity of your anger?

It becomes obvious that these topics naturally belong together.

Annika Korsten has explored them both over the past few years with conscious healing and experiments. Her recent article on "Anger and Sexuality" is a door opener for this conversation.

In this interview, Annika shares her research on conscious sexuality and how her access to conscious anger helped her embark and continue on this discovery journey. Annika encourages women to be bold and ask for the unthinkable, through an intimate connection with their own body.

"If we want the humanoid strand to continue living on Earth, we have to get real. The women have to stand up and say: Enough."

Rangitunoa is indigineous to Aotearoa (New Zealand) and from the tribes Ngāi Tūhoe and Ngāti Tūwharetoa. Her name means "The internal chimes of freedom", and that is what she stands for.

In this episode, she speaks of the necessity for women to stand up and reclaim their sovereignty, of spirituality and ancestry, of Patriarchy and colonisation, of women's connection to the land, and more.

"Women are connected to the land because they are incubators of the people."

"We have to decide how to draw up the blueprint of the future."

Rangitunoa uses a few Te Reo Māori terms that you may be curious about:

2) Treaty of Waitangi: New Zealand’s founding document of 1840. An agreement signed by some Māori chiefs and the British Crown. It is to date disputed whether Māori tribes gave up their sovereignty under this Agreement.

3) Aotearoa means New Zealand.

4) Te Urewera is a region on the North Island of New Zealand, to the East of Lake Taupo. It is the historical home of Tūhoe, a Māori iwi (tribe) known for its stance on Māori sovereignty.

5) Te Wakaminenga Flag: In 1834, British official James Busby called the Chiefs of the Northern districts together to decide upon a flag. There were three options and the one they agreed upon became known as Te Haki Tuatahi, meaning the first flag. One year later, in 1835, Busby gathered the chiefs together and they signed He Whakaputanga, The Declaration of Independence. Today many Maori hold firm to the 1835 He Whakaputanga and maintain that Te Haki Tuatahi is the first and legal flag of the sovereign independent nation of Aotearoa. Te Haki Tuatahi is also referred to as Te Kara o Te Whakaminenga o Nga Hapu o Nu Tireni – The Flag of the United Tribes of New Zealand.

Anne-Chloé Destremau is an Evolutionary Gameworld Builder and Spaceholder Trainer who lives at the center of the context of Possibility Management and in Radical Responsibility.

With her crystal clarity, she gives us a glimpse of the path of women towards Archiarchy, the culture that needs to emerge next, now that Patriarchy and Matriarchy have run their course. Archiarchy is a culture of Creative Collaboration between the archetypally-initiated Feminine and the archetypally-initiated Masculine.

Patrizia Patz is Speaker, Trainer and Author. Patrizia's website is in German; you can find her also on Facebook (with English posts). 

What does it mean to be radically alive? Is it only when you're thriving and creative and doing? 

In this episode, it becomes clear that aliveness is not a show. It's not about pretending to be alive in a certain way. Radical aliveness, rather, means to be authentic about where you are at right now. It is about the exact opposite of pretending. Then radical aliveness can look very differently.

Usually, Patrizia is full of what is commonly considered aliveness. As you will hear in this episode, this kind of aliveness is not where Patrizia was at around the time of the recording. Instead, she was in "Bardo state". Bardo is a Tibetan Buddhist term to describe an intermediate, transitional, or liminal state between death and rebirth. It is a space where the old is gone and the new is not there yet. 

In these 20 minutes, Patrizia shares of her experience of being in a state of no internal impulses, how that differs from a state of depression or "swamp" / victimhood, its challenges, and how it is an invitation to observe oneself and one's patterns. Together, we explore how this state is an essential part of being radically alive.

Patrizia's aliveness comes through in this conversation with vulnerability and curiosity. I was deeply touched also by her exploration of how Bardo state is connected to her personal transition during menopause - a field lacking role models.

"This is the time to reclaim what is really valuable." ~ Anicha Vos.

I interviewed Anicha Vos this week. It was an ad hoc interview in a public café, hence some background noise, as I radically followed my impulse. 

This interview itself unfolded magically: I had been to Anicha's and her partner's (Marcel Hof, Wim Hof's brother) Breath and Meditation workshop a few years ago. When I came across them in our local café Raw Balance in Turangi (what are the odds?), I immediately knew I wanted to interview Anicha. I went for it. She said Yes! and here is the result.

The thread that emerges from this lively interview is an inspiration to let life unfold its Magic - by radically honoring what's alive in you, especially your feelings; connecting to inner and outer nature; keeping life simple.
