The ANC has blamed its dwindling support in Coloured communities on lazy members who are not mobilising in these communities. The schools routine has been disrupted for several weeks by violent protests over the appointment of its principal, Noma-themba Molefe, and her deputies. The Choice of Termination of Pregnancy Act makes abortions legal under certain conditions. But the act does not recognise the foetus' right to life.
