South Africa is the 30th-driest nation on earth and government expects water demand to outstrip supply as early as 2025. Gauteng motorists will in future first have to pay e-tolls before they can renew their car license discs. And those who do not register for their e-toll tags will pay double to cover the administrative costs of getting them onto the system. This means they will not be able to benefit from the up to 50 percent reduction in fees announced by Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa under the new e-toll dispensation. sakina Kamwendo spoke to Cosatu President Sdumo Dlamini.
