Eskom has again blamed the delay in the completion of the Medupi power station on frequent labour disputes between contractors and their employees. About 14-thousand workers have been strike at the power station in Lephalale, Limpopo, for the past four weeks. Medupi was originally meant to be on the grid by thsi year, but Eskom said yesterday it might only be fully operational by 2021.
