October marks National Breast Cancer
Awareness Month and we now find out more an

organization that helps breast cancer survivors regain
their self-esteem by providing them with detachable
breast prosthetics. We now speak to Carla Lind,
Chairlady of Reach for Recovery in the Western Cape.

It’s been three days since the municipal

manager of Nkangala District Municipality in
Mpumalanga, Maggie Sikhosana and her assistant
were kidnapped. Sikhosana and her assistant were
accosted by men driving a private car outside the

municipal gates. Her car and wheelchair have since
been found in Middelburg. We now speak to
Mpumalanga police spokesperson, Brigadier Selvy
Mohlala.

The case against a man accused of the murder of four-year-old Bokgabo Poo has been postponed in Benoni Magistrate's Court, East of Johannesburg. 30 year-old Ntokozo Zikhali is facing charges of murder, rape, kidnapping, and violation of a corpse. During his initial court appearance Zikhali was nearly attacked by Bokgabo's father Irvin Ndlovu but police subdued him. This forced the abrupt adjournment of the court. Judgment is expected in the High Court in Cape Town today in the murder of eight-year-old Tazné van Wyk. The accused, 54-year-old Moyhdian Pangkaeker, was arrested in February 2020 following Tazne's disappearance near her home in Elsies River a few days earlier. The girl's body was found in a storm water pipe outside Worcester. Sakina Kamwendo spoke to Atule Joka
