BE DRIVEN : We’re approaching the end of disability awareness month and this afternoon we chat to Khwezi Mthembu who became a paraplegic after getting involved in a car accident in 2009. Khwezi is the founder of a Mpumalanga based company called Definitive Brand Culture. The 35-year-old started his business in 2015 using the pension money he received after resigning from his corporate job. He joins us on the line.

INTERVIEW: Police Minister Bheki Cele says a total of 2,000 kidnapping cases have been reported between July and September this year.

He released the quarterly crime statistics last Friday.

Gauteng accounted for 729 kidnapping cases, followed by KZN with 407 cases.

Cele said the majority of kidnapping cases were hijacking-related.
