INTERVIEW: On Sunday night President Cyril Ramaphosa confirmed that he was instituting a task team to look at the issue of vaccine mandates.

Meanwhile, from the first of January next year employers such as Discovery and Momentum are insisting that all of their workers are vaccinated.

Several institutions of higher education are doing the same.

However, lobby group, Afriforum says they will oppose any decision by government to make vaccines mandatory.

We’ll be joined on the line by Ernst Roets who is the Head of Policy and Action at Afriforum and later we’ll speak to trade union Cosatu who are in support of mandatory vaccinations.
