#TheTakeOffInterview| The Competition Commission recently set up new guidelines for the automotive industry in the aim to promote more competition in areas such as manufacturing, repairs, insurance and financing.
One of the big changes will be that car owners will no longer have to use dealership service centers and parts departments to keep their service plans and guarantees in place.

INTERVIEW: Four police officers have made their first court appearance in connection with Mthokozisi Ntumba’s death. Ntumba was shot and killed in Braamfontein, Johannesburg last week when police fired rubber bullets at protesting students. Meanwhile Ntumba’s memorial service was held today and he will be laid to rest in his hometown of Bergville in KZN on Saturday. We’re now joined on the line by Ndileka Cola, spokesperson for the Independent Police Investigative Directorate.
