Northern Cape Premier, Zamani Saul has received backlash on social media platforms following his tweet on Tuesday where he announced that 540 flushing toilets will be constructed at a cost of R120 million, in an effort to eradicate bucket and pit toilets. X users questioned the budget of the project, with some demanding a breakdown of this cost. However, some Campbell residents who are using bucket and pit toilets have welcomed the announcement, stating that the project will also create employment.
