The Africa Attractiveness report has revealed that despite weak economic growth foreign direct investment on the continent increased by 6 percent in 2017. The report also shows that South Africa still attracts more investors, sharing the top with Morocco. It is the first time that South Africa was matched by another country in terms of being the most preferred investment destination. Ethiopia also showed an improvement jumping seven places to become the fifth-largest FDI recipient, its highest ranking.
