Sven Longshanks looks at an appeal hearing that could bring in a blasphemy law in Britain
Hamit Coskun set fire to a Koran and said 'F Islam' outside the Turkish embassy last year, in protest against islamization in Turkey
A passer by tried to stab him, yet the CPS prosecuted Hamit for a religiously aggravated offence, Hamit appealed and won the appeal, now the CPS are trying to appeal that ruling
If the appeal is upheld, anyone who gets violently attacked while protesting anything to do with protected characteristics, could also be prosecuted for inciting violence against themselves
