William A Rodriguez is an indigenous Taino multi-instrumentalist, producer, arranger, composer, and performer.

As an active member of the Taino/Arawakan community, he makes ceremonial tools for a variety of cultures. He lives on a sustainable farm in rural Georgia, United States.

Lucy Smith is a Chicago-based musician and singer-songwriter who likes to explore and present jazz, folk, gospel, blues, and more.

At the occasion of the 250th anniversary of the United States' Declaration of Independence, Lucy Smith performs a special repertoire of traditional and original compositions and classics for

‘America: Songs and Stories of Protest and Freedom’, a multi-genre concert of spoken word and music written and narrated by award-winning journalist, Cheryl Corley.

The concert chronicles America’s story from its founding years to the 21st century and takes place in various parks and venues in Chicago throughout the summer of 2026.

It includes Emma Lazarus’ poem ‘The New Colossus’ and Langston Hughes’ ‘Backlash Blues’ along with the words of other American authors. Songs include Thomas Paine’s ‘Liberty Tree’, Woody Guthrie’s ‘This Land is Your Land’, and Marvin Gaye's ‘Mercy Mercy Me’.

In 2025, Lucy received the Black Excellence Award for Outstanding Achievement in Music from the Black Arts and Culture Alliance of Chicago. Lucy’s other music director work includes projects at the Park West Theatre, Goodman Theatre, and Steppenwolf Theatre, where she shared the stage with blues legend Koko Taylor and others.

Joey Clift is a Los Angeles-based comedian, TV writer, director, Emmy-nominated producer, and enrolled member of the Cowlitz Indian Tribe.

Joey’s work has been featured in The Washington Post, CNN, Pitchfork, NPR, Dead Meat, and Comedy Central.

As a television writer Joey has written for shows such as the 7x Emmy-nominated Spirit Rangers on Netflix, Molly of Denali and Alma’s Way on PBS, New Looney Tunes and Lego Ninjago: Decoded on Cartoon Network, and Paw Patrol on Nickelodeon.

As a Native American, he grew up on a reservation and went to tribal schools growing up. Now he’s a professional comedy writer.

One of Joey Clift’s most recent projects, an animated short film entitled ‘Pow!’, centers on a young Native American boy who tries to charge his video game console at a large powwow.

Made by a largely indigenous crew and featuring an all Native voice cast, ‘Pow!’ became an Oscar-contender in 2026. Joey Clift's new book, “We've Been Here the Whole Time! A Not So Sacred Guide to All Things Native America" is set to be released October 14, 2026.

National Geographic Photographer Kiliii Yüyan is a visual storyteller, and Nat Geo Explorer,

whose work has brought him to some of the world’s harshest environments.

Chinese-American and Nanai/Hèzhé (indigenous East Asian), he has traveled across the polar regions working with indigenous cultures, wildlife, and underwater environments.

Chris Neville is a lifelong musician and composer, playing across many genres and styles.

Viola ‘Vi’ Waghiyi is a Sivuqaq Yupik, Native Village of Savoonga Tribal Citizen, mother, and grandmother.

Since 2002, she has worked with Alska Community Action on Toxics (‘ACAT’) and serves as Environmental Health and Justice Director.

She is a nationally recognized environmental justice leader and is frequently invited to speak locally, nationally, and internationally.

Vi serves as a leader of the Global Indigenous Peoples Caucus that advises the United Nation’s international delegates for treaties concerning persistent organic pollutants.

In April 2021, she was appointed by President Joe Biden to the White House Environmental Justice Advisory Council (WHEJAC).

Josh Chicoine is the creative force behind Cult Canyon, a Chicago-based band that has recently released a debut album, ‘Smoke Tricks’.

Cult Canyon's music has been described as California-Style Folk Rock. The band features strings and other orchestrations to bring fullness to its pop stylings.
