Ollie is an intern this summer for the Aspen Science Center. He tells us about his interest in mathematics and explanations like "dinner table math concepts."

Ollie tells us that the idea of math is that you first identify patterns, and then you prove them. He has thus spent his summer designing math activities to help kids and adults wrap their heads around these concepts.

Victoria tells us about he experience this summer as an intern for the Aspen Science Center. She gives us a general idea of the events that happen throughout the summer including the Star Gazers, which she has a particular interest for.

Stephanie Lukowksi is the Paleontologist at the Ice Age Discovery Center In Snowmass Village, Colorado.

The Snowmastodon Site is one of the largest fossil discoveries in Colorado history, the world's most significant mastodon find, and a remarkably complete record of climate change between 140,000-45,000 years ago.

During the excavation, scientists recovered over 6,000 large skeletal elements and 30,000 small skeletal elements belonging to mammoth, mastodon, bison, camel, horse, sloth, deer, and 45 species of smaller vertebrate animals.

Daniel is an intern this summer at the Aspen Science Center. He took a break from helping with some demonstrations to break down some fun science for us! He also tells us about his summer internship and what it has been like.

Daniel is going to the Colorado College in Colorado Springs to study Computer Science and Music, two of our favorite things! For that reason we discuss coding for website and app development, as well as time spent practicing instruments.

Robert Martin is the Dean of Communication, Art, & Media at Colorado Mountain College. He spent the day with us at the science fair demoing the Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, and Samsung VR headsets.

Rob talks about present, past and future of VR, including predictions about how the technology will be used. He says the next big advancement for VR will be "light field projection." This discussion also focuses on some of the classes available at CMC that relate to the new Virtual Reality technology.
