In our latest show, we welcomed Erfurt-based DJ and event curator Monastic Kid to the studio. From his early electronic influences—Jean-Michel Jarre and 90s hardcore—to building his own event series Melodisches Treiben, he shared the journey behind his sound and vision.

During the lockdown, he launched a podcast to connect with artists and grow a network that later evolved into real-world events. We also talked about the spiritual roots behind his artist name, his years working in a monastery, and his plans for upcoming releases and open-air events in Erfurt.

He also gave us insights into the Friendship community — a collective bringing creative energy, local DJs, and family-friendly festivals to the region.

@marcobove, also known as Sboovez, is an Italian disc jockey ( in the truest sense of the word ), analogic producer, live performer, dreamer, vinyl’s lover and own of Fluctus Soul label.

His indescribable sound has been influenced by different artist and music genres during the years, starting from typical Detroit techno melodic beats to Chicago vocal house going through Berlin minimalistic waves.
