Happy Feast of St. John! Ah, a day for the wild-child in each of us. Brought to you by the Feast of the Nativity of Saint John the Baptist, the Queen/Witch/Witch-Queen/Demon Herodias, the herb St Johns wort, the stone Pyrite, the geomantic figure of Tristitia (and a side of Okanran), the practices of Prophecy, the tarot trump of the Fool, and the revolutionary dead magician Paschal Beverly Randolph!
A wish for continued good health and good spirits to us all. May the fires of St John push disease of body, mind, and spirit far from each of us. Wash your hands!

Ah!!!! A glorious Walpurgisnacht to you all. Today’s episode is brought to you by Saint Catherine of Siena (on her pre-1969 Feast Day with guest appearances by Walpurga), the demon Ashtaroth (and maybe the King and Queen of the Seven Crossroads), the herb Mandrake, the stone Quartz, the geomantic figure of Albus (and a side of Oturupon), the practice of Night Flight, the tarot trump of the Moon, and the witch Isobel Gowdie.
If you’re interested in helping us with our levels, let us know! We have eight previous episodes that need to be released still, and would love your help with how they sound.

We are delighted to present a very special episode of Radio Free Golgotha celebrating the Feast of the Holy Relics. We were – indeed, remain! – exceptionally fortunate to have been joined for this ossuary celebration by Katarina Pejović, our official spokeswitch for Balkan saint-bothering, dragon magic, and much much more.
This very special episode of RFG is brought to you by discussion of the wandering deputy of Lucifer and/or Belzebuth the demon Agliarept aka Agaleraptarkimath aka Agataraptor, and even comparative conversing about his counterparted (and similarly-moustachio'd) spirit of Quimbanda, Exu Mangueira.
This episode is also brought to you by reverence for Datura, the Mother of Thousands that sparks visionary conflagrations with its witch-flight rocket fuel; by exploration of the occult virtues of the Bezoar, that apotropaic panacea-fruit of the union of animalia and mineralia; by consideration of the deep and occasionally divisive distinctions between Sorcery and Witchcraft in their manifold cultural expressions and operative practicalities.
This episode is even brought to you by the geomantic figure of Conjunctio, and its similarly-shaped Odu (meiji) Iwori; by the pendulous arcana of The Hanged Man; and in midnight revelry for the sciomantic power and influence of the Witch of Endor, who raised the shades of the dead even though the priests say she shouldn’t’ve…
We hope you enjoy this especially necromantic episode of relics and resurrections!

The usual two hour meandering through the labyrinth of association, brought to you by the twin Saints Cosmas and Damian, the Grimorium Verum demon Serguthy (and his Quimbanda syncretism of Exu Mirim), the tree (and yes, still plant, Doctor Al) Poplar, the mineral Pyrite, the craptastic magic of dice, the Geomantic figure of Puer (and a shoutout to the corresponding Odu of Irete), the Tarot Trump of the Fool, and the Three Child Seers rounding out our wandering as our Dead Magicians.

And….. we’re back! After a nine month hiatus, pregnant with possibility, we have a new episode!
Two and a half hours of topic meandering brought to you by the Virgin Mary's Bodily Assumption into Heaven, the Demon Hicpath and Exu das Matas, the Herb Myrtle, the Stone Moonstone, the Magic of Possession, the Geomantic Figure of Fortuna Major and the Odu Owonrin/Owani, the Tarot card of the World, and the Witch and Magician Aradia.
We are happy to be back in recording mode and a few more episodes planned for this year up our collective sleevies (where the King keeps his armies)….

Brought to you by the Feast of the Saint Raphael and the Archangel of the same name; the Demon Asmodeus; the Geomantic Figure Tristitia (and the Odú Okana); the stone Labradorite; the herb Lavender; traditions of Learning Magic- i.e. magic to help you learn; the Tarot Trump of the Chariot; and the Saint and Doctor and Abbess Hildegard of Bingen as our dead magician.
Behold, our second golgoth-a-trois! The talented Vanessa Irena of knifesex is with us for this episode- and how fitting as Vanessa and Al teamed up recently to write a booklet on the eponymous Archangel Raphael, available from Hadean Press as part of their ‘Guides to the Underworld’ series.

This special episode of Radio Free Golgotha is brought to you in celebration of the Feast of Justina of Padua & Our Lady of the Rosary, with discussion of the virtues of the mighty herb Angelica; by consideration of the myriad riches and depths of Lapis Lazuli; and by overview of the mysteries of intimacy and choice present in the Arcana of The Lovers.
This episode is also brought to you in honour of the history and magics of Rosaries, those rosy garlands of prayerful orisons and petitions; and by comparative analysis of the Venusian geomantic figure of Puella and the Odu (meji) of Otura.
Finally, this episode also honours The Other Justina – Justina of Antioch – as our patron dead exorcist. As such, this episode is also brought to you by absolutely no demons at all this time.
We hope you enjoy the double scoop of Justina in this episode! We will continue to update the website and our facebook page when footnotes become available.

Merry Cyprianmas, dear hearts! In honour of Cyprian of Antioch, infamous patron saint of necromancings, we have resurrected a big old extended episode from the RFG crypts of unpublished recordings, celebrating the Sorcerer Saint Cipriano! Along the boneyard way we sing the praises of the mineral Jet, the herb Asafoetida aka Devil's Dung, the geomantic figure Cauda Draconis and the Odu Ogunda, the Major Arcana The Magician, the magics of Grimoires, and the devil Hael and the Exu of Quimbanda - the spirit said to have taught Cyprian his black magics - Exu Meia Noite. Salve!
We recorded this Cyprianmas episode back in 2018. One of the reasons this one has laid in deathless slumber, awaiting reanimation, for so long was a disconcerting shift in sound quality between the two sessions in which it was recorded; the first half of the episode was captured live, the second over the interwebs. In fact, you might notice our sudden shift towards various indeterminable continental accents in the Sean Connery sibilants (we decided to favor the lithp rather than be inaudible). Perhaps the Sorcerer Saint reminds even your esteemed hosts to never take themselves too seriously….
But mostly, we are again incredibly grateful to Mark Steadman for his excellent sound wizardry in making this 'cast as listenable a pod as possible out of our old bad recording habits! Other than spruced up sound, we have decided to chop up this resurrected zombie of an episode as little as possible and present as is, was, and shall be. We hope you don't miss the new theme tune too much.
Once again, the opinions expressed in these recordings are four years old at this point, and we reserve the right - like any four year-old - to abandon them in a Walmart car park if they now prove overly disagreeable or obnoxious... We sincerely hope, on this blessed Feast of Cyprian and Justina, that you find something shared, something inspiring, or simply something quite interesting in our resuscitated breath, banter, and bones to pick. May looking over your old work inspire you to new; and if you’re lucky (like us!), with a lithp.

Brought to you by the Feast of the Saint Roch; the Demon Frucissiere and the Spirit Exu do Cemitério; the Geomantic Figure Fortuna Minor (and the Odú Irosún); the mineral Carnelian; the herb Rue; the broad sweep of traditions and folklore of Plague Magic; the Tarot Trump of the Sun; and the Four Thieves (of Vinegar fame) for our Dead Magicians.
This is our first episode with a guest! The lovely Mallorie Vaudoise of Italian Folk Magic is with us for this episode- it was amazing to have her in the conversation and we hope to have her again. This now opens up the possibilities of more Golgoth-a-trois, which is very exciting for us.
Please forgive our sound quality on this one- sitting around a table left the directional pick up on the mic just a little confused sometimes. You can hear Al loud and clear though (Fortuna Minor- small blessings!).
