Annick Brofman will be visiting Bristol to teach a weekend course in the Body Mirror System of Healing November 22nd & 23rd 2025
The class starts both days at 9:30 AM and ends around 8:30 PM
on Saturday and around 7:30 PM on Sunday. Registration starts
on Saturday morning at 8:30 AM.

The Body Mirror System of Healing
This system of healing developed by Martin Brofman, is a
synthesis of Western psychology and Eastern philosophies based
on the chakras (energy centres found in the Hindu traditions).
Because each of these chakras can be associated with certain
parts of the consciousness as well as certain parts of the
body, they allow us to read the body as a map of the
consciousness within.
Thus, tensions in the body are seen to reflect tensions in the
consciousness, and the chakras can be used as a vehicle to
understand the Body Mind Interface and its implications for

The Class 
During the class, you will exchange 5 healings with other
participants, using various techniques you have been taught,
and at the completion of the class, you will be able to:
1. Understand and experience yourself as a Being of energy.
2. Feel and direct energy, and see energy (auras, chakras, thought
forms.)
3. Understand the relationship between your body and your
consciousness.
4. Understand how symptoms in the body reflect tensions in the
consciousness.
5. Read the body as a map of consciousness, understanding the
inner causes to outer symptoms.
6. Understand the chakras and their associations with specific
parts of the consciousness and specific parts of the body.
7. Use various tools designed for healing (White Light, colors,
thought forms.)
8. See the results of putting these techniques and tools to use.

It was an honour to speak with Amanda about her family's experiences.

We hear the extraordinary sighting of what her (non-believer) husband described as an 'elf' in and around their home in Cape Cod.
Amanda shares a very moving account of a crow which appeared in the family's lives and brought solace, around a tragic event.

Lastly, we hear Amanda's father's account of seeing two little beings climb into his childhood bedroom in Cape Cod.
These experiences felt personal and meaningful. Such encounters compel us to question the relationship between the material realm and the Otherworlds.

I speak with Rick, whose father was an intelligence agent in the CIA from the 1950s onwards.

One night in 1954 in Austria, when Rick was a young child left alone briefly in his parents' bed, something unseen began pulling at his body from the bottom of the bed. Eventually, a red being popped up at the side of his bed and shouted ‘FA!’ in his face. It was the culmination of many other unsettling experiences. The family later returned to North America, living in various locations.
Later, as a young man while training in Buddhist meditation techniques his encounters with Otherworldly beings began to reignite. The pattern seems to suggest that these beings have been reaching out to him for his entire life. He is now ready to engage with them, if only they would return.
This was a fascinating conversation.

I spoke to Bryn Chainey, Director of 'Rabbit Trap', Bryn's first feature film. The story centres around a couple in (no later than) 1976 who have moved into the Welsh countryside on a creative retreat.

Daphne (Rosy McEwen) an avant garde vocalist and her husband Darcy (Dev Patel) an experimental sound recordist, use the new found space to explore their art and their relationship. In doing so, they stumble across unusual sounds, enter the depths of nature and experience something Otherworldly...at which point a stranger enters their lives.
It was great to chat with Bryn and learn what had inspired him. Turns out that, like many of us, he's been familiar with these worlds since childhood. And, (as these magical kinds of projects tend to do) against all odds, the film found it's way into the insightful hands of SpectreVision - yet another nudge that there's definitely something driving this opening of hearts and minds towards the Otherworld, into the mainstream.

It's a brilliant film, sensitive to these themes, incredible cinematography due to the fact that it's all shot on 35mm, giving a soothing sense of spaciousness to the natural world backdrop that runs throughout the story. The soundscape is masterful and an experience all by itself.

I loved it!! Go and see it if you can.

The film releases Friday 12th September in cinemas all across the US. We are hoping it will come to Europe too.

In the meantime, check out Bryn's previous short film Moritz and the Woodwose (2013) - I think the portrayal of the being is really inspired.

Greg, an academic and lifelong experiencer contacted me with what he felt was a gnome encounter.
We discuss early memories including his crib levitating and spindly black creatures who would appear at the side of his childhood bed. The description of the creatures reminded me of Episode 82: "The Puppets are Coming for Me"

Greg shares how a later Kundalini experience brought a sense of expansion of consciousness and led to an encounter with what he believes was a Holy Guardian Angel.

The Case of the 'Sandown Clown' on the Isle of Wight has intrigued researchers for decades. Now, a woman claiming to be the long-sought-after witness, 'Fay' (a pseudonym) who was seven when the encounter took place has made contact with fellow Wight Islander, Paul Wilson.

The woman who has provided compelling material evidence now reports subsequent encounters took place with the same being in 1982, 1983, 1984 and 1989. Here Paul describes those encounters and reveals further information about the original encounter, which was reported to BUFORA in 1978

Artist, Gina McAdam kindly shares her memories of childhood companionship with the presence of fairies in her garden and more recently, right before Covid Lockdown, seeing a small "conker shaped", rodent-sized being who walked into her lounge on it's knuckles and reversed out backwards!

In the full length (1.5 hour) version on Patreon we discuss the resistance Gina felt towards talking about her experiences and how that shifted for her during our chat. She shares the story of the female spirit of a previous owner who regularly visited Gina's family in their childhood home.
